Removal and Replacement of two (2) Raw Water Storage tanks including demolition of existing tanks and subgrade including hazardous materials, very limited site access and tank access, tanks had to be taken out of service one at a time in order to accommodate facility needs, this resulted in difficulty of demolishing existing, erecting and coating new tanks while the adjacent tank was still in service.
Limited access was also an issue and was overcome with coordination and use of larger equipment for moving steel to it’s intended location for installation.
