This rehabilitation project on a 132′ x 34.5′ tank involved additional reinforcement to the interior existing structure, removal of existing tie-rods and installation of lateral bracing.
There was also a complete replacement of the existing overflow and installation of a new 36″ multi-bolt manway 180 degrees away from the existing manway. There was installation of new perimeter shell vents and replacement of the 72″ diamater center vent and liquid level indicator.
Aside from steel work there was a complete recoat of the interior tank and a new cathodic protection system installed.
